Take the untrained guys with guns that also have masculinity and anger issues desperate, then put them in an airport and tell them they are in charge. With 24 hours notice no less. Also keep in mind many POCs and immigrants WORK at airports and have to go through security to do their jobs. I don't think it's unreasonable to expect to see people being tackled walking off of planes. I also don't think it's unreasonable to expect ICE assaults someone that works for TSA who is going on or off shift. But reality can sometimes throw a fastball and give us an even crazier outcome, so I'm not placing my bets yet. #TSA #ICE #uspol

Headed out of #SFO today. Just on the other side of the #TSA checkpoint (where OF COURSE I got pulled aside for a patdown) there were some sleek-looking #dispensers promising "chilled #water." I spent about 2 minutes trying to get the touchless system to work. Followed "Place hand in front of sensor" about 15 different ways. No dice. Most of the people around me couldn't get the interface to work either, though every now and then a #techbro lucked out. Now I'm filling my water bottle from a bog-standard bottle filler next to the bathroom. High tech wastes time when it isn't intuitive or just plain doesn't work.
